Next Monday, CWC hosts an information session on *Everything You Need to Know About Islamic Funerals and Wills* With Imam Abd Alfatah Twakkal.
While we never know when we will leave this life for the next, be prepared by knowing what Islam prescribes and how you can ensure your wishes and beliefs will be respected when you pass.
Guest Speaker: Leenat Jilani
Leenat is a local lawyer with speciality in Islamic Wills, legal commentator in Globe and Mail, as well as a Human Rights advocate and Visible Muslim Woman.
Outside of the work, Leenat is involved in Mujaadilah Centre, a not-for-profit think tank that strives to amplify the voices of Canadian Muslim women.
